I've popped my head in a few times before but its been quieter than Marcel Marceau doing an mime of a Gregorian Monk observing his vow of silence.
In a nut shell, no.

No - noone uses it really. I putit together and i sweated over it for a while, but its still not the best ever use of a chatroom (or chatrrom technology). When the much hyped version 2 of the site goies live we will have our own IRC room, boh.

Hey, today is the first time Ive ever been able to type something on entering the 'chat room'......amazing!!!
Asok....did you change something so it would work...(even if no-ones in anyway)
It would be good if when you could see someone browsing a forum, you could click on the name then meet in chat etc.....
just a thought!:)

@ Stalag

IRC = Internet Relay Chat. Basically it means that you would connect to a server which would host chat-rooms, rather than using a rapidly updating web-page ...

For everything you wanted to know about IRC (but were afraid to ask), check out this site:

http://www.irchelp.org/

... Or ask Poi, whose second home is the Efnet IRC server!
