Oh and - I get a lot of CGI Timeout errors while browsing these forums - mostly at work on the (HORIFFIC) isdn, but occasionaly at home too (cablemodem), so i dont think the error is my end - this is usually caused by the server being overloaded so it cant process the requests fast enough.. Which shouldn't really be a problem cos the site is fairly youthful huh..

If it's your machine perhaps set the max_execution_time variable (or something similar) to 60seconds or so, or ask your admins to do it..

most of the time it's fine but then sometimes it will bring errors - if it was my end i wouldn't see anything from the server.. whereas the server is generating errors :) .. probably a shared server and when other websites are busy... :(

Yep your right mate...

I host the site and uploaded the bulletin board - and this particular bulletin board is quite server heavy. When some of the other sites on the shared server are busy the site occasionly times out - it happens with asp and cgi - bgut im geting all techie here and theres only a few of you will understand...

Once the site is launched we will move it over to a better server with faster space...

watch this space - the site fucking rocks by the way - if i do say so myself (cos i is buildin it ;) ). Check out the new logo on the front page - ta muchly to my barry tranter for that one..

I will post you private about that one my friend...but this server is fine ince we move over to the more powerful space. Still - webspace and hosting ALWAYS comes in handy - so ill let you know. Make sure you post lee a copy of your mix as mp3 and I will encode and upload it to the site.

Baz Tranter is my mate the graphic designer who has done the logo for us and is currently making t-shirts. It was supposed to say "Mr Barry Tranter" but i put "my Barry Tranter" instead - which sounds well gay. I was gonna edit the post but its too late now - ill just leave it like that and scare the shit out of him...hahahaha...
