Yeah, went down to that Warriors in the Dance, and i thought it was well off key. The DJs were off at the side, whilst the MCs took over the stage, so the crowd was focusing on them. I don't know about anyone else, but to me its all about the beats, and when 7 or 8 tits get up on stage, some dressed up like some thing out of 2059 space odyssey(Navigator), and start shouting over the tunes, not even in time, it fucks up the flow of the music. Sorry to moan, but this shit gets on my tits b time. Tonn Piper was on at the start, they should have kept him on, he was crisp. I'm not taking anything away from the DJs though, Sappo was shit hot, as was Bassline Smith(thought he was gonna play some more nasty shit though!).Mampi tore it down, every tune double dropped just about, badman. Ray was good too. I know i ain't the only one who's balls were done in by Navigator, Trigga and crew, the fucking DJs were laughing at them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Totaly agree with you man. Wicked night regards the DJ's playing and the general sound of the nighht but the MC caper spoiled it. To many heads on stage and everyone dancing facing the wrong way. All the attention should be on the beats being played and the head playing those beats.
Not to take anything away from the W.I.T.D crew as they smashed it again with a wicked line up i just think that they need to sort out that aspect. The 'in the corner, lets look moody' days of MC'in are over or so i thought they were but obviously not as Ali G was giving it hard on that stage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
pics are now up here (http://www.nwdnb.co.uk/Interact/galleries/warriors_21nov_2002/index.html)
