Finally gettin the hang of this -- but a major cause of headaches is the quality of the samples I'm finding.
Tried all the sites that have been listed on this forum: but after spending hours downloading from them (friggin dial-up!) I find a lot of the samples are either really short (like 1 or 2 secs) or they sound "clipped" at the end.
Is this the kinda thing that's found everywhere, and it's just a case of persevering with these short samples? Or are there sites that have longer samples?
I know I could use the numerous vst plug ins for Cubase - but I'm not very muscial like that (though maybe in time...)
