... be a cheeky bastard and steal mixes off sites like DnB Arena, that aren't as user friendly and nice as this one (ha-ha! Arse-kissing!) and don't let you download them?

I'm listening to Andy C @ World Dance XPRS URSELF, and its fucking quality. Nuff good tunes, and no MC at all.

I'd love to be able to listen to this somewhere other than on a computer.

That Andy C mix @ the SE1 Arches is a fuckin good one!

As for nickin it, Frisky posted the name of a nice little app which can download the stream for you although I had a bit of trouble using it, not cos im thick, but because D&B Arena have done a particularly good job of keeping their vast database of audio safe!

Would a Mr Frisk like to shed any light on this and show us how to download the streams off Drum & Bass Arena?

Oh yeah, the software was called StreamBox VCR I think.

weeeeeeeeeell...you could try and find a program that will rip a stream from thier site, or maybe run something like total recorder in the background while you listen to the stream

or you could run a lineout from the output of your soundcard to a tape deck

yeah streambox can rip anything off any site, but you need to know what you are doing...i couldn't work it out either :D

Or ... run a cable from your soundcard line-out back into the line-in and through an audio editor - that way ycan save it straight onto your hard-drive - which ofcourse ycan then burn to cd.

I've done that in the past and it's worked well -- but it needs a decent (i.e broadband!) connection to avoid buffering on the stream ...

Safe, I'll probably go for the low-tech option, coz I fucking hate computers. Well, they hate me...

Incidently, I don't suppose you know the tune with a well floaty build up, going "you are the new generation" then its real hectic & fast...
