Anyone get down to Step Back the other night>Nicky Blackmarket/Baby D etc??
Never been down there before, they put a really good show on>huge venue, lasers, screens, good stuff. Nearly got flattened by about seven lads rushing the door but otherwise a top night>bring on the old skool!!!!

Yep, i was there Affray (as you know ;) ), it was a phat night! The oldschool was bang on, altho it did get a bit boring after like 4 and a half hours.. The same tunes get played a lot.. Then again that is kinda the point of oldschool right?

Blackmarket did not disappoint, played a wicked old jungle set, i was goin off me nut by then!

The setup there was good - the lasers especially, the venue itself reminded me a bit of the Compulsion days at Bowlers, big open warehouse space almost. One thing though, the treble was a bit damp.. (remember the chopper/nutter vip mix..)

Want to meet up some time Affray? I'm pretty busy thru the week with work, and weekends tend to go a bit mad, but i've got this Friday off, we should sort something out, get together for a rinse out ;) I'll give u a call.
