Right OK!

On Saturday 1st Oct there is a free party @ the Arch Bar in Hulme hosted by RedSheep Promotions. This is an In The City event and will be showcasing talent from All FM (96.9). The Audiosalad Dj’s will also be playing.

Expect a wide variety of music, if it’s good it’s getting played!!!. We have both floors so expect a chilled old skool house vibe downstairs and hardcore/jungle Tekno and D’n’B upstairs.

Dj’s on the Night

DJ Response & NBL (Audiosalad / Odyssey Dance Show ALL FM)
MK & Ricochet (The Alliance Show All FM)
The Night Riders (All FM)
Nick Sinna (Audiosalad)
Buda (Audiosalad)
DeeperHeightz (Audiosalad)
Mr Wilson (Audiosalad)

For anyone who wasnt there:

Theres an upstairs and a downstairs...

The guys had both booked out but, as they got there, the arch bar guy told them they couldnt have the upstairs because someone else had booked it out. So they had double booked it - bastards.

Upstairs, you can do WTF you want because it's where people go for specialist music but downstairs, you cant really go over certain limits because you get everyday people off the street coming in for a drink and a general chill.

So.... They started off with some classic house things... Sped it up to some jungle techno followed by old housey jungle.

Then, Dylan who loves his darkside flavours dropped two tunes which was dark as fuck. Everyone stopped dancing so the the record got stopped and more house was played. I think it was some garage DJs who came on next... Thats where I left it.

Great night. No dnb but there were some lovely tunes there, some classic chicago house from Nick Sinna.

All I have to say to Dylan is :bthumb: Big up for doing your own thing. I wish there were more DJs like that who take risks. I mean, that was the worst possible outcome experimentation can have but, fuck em, at least you tried. So big up your big stinkin narsty chest for believing in yourself and having a go rather than fronting and "Playing it safe". Massive

Big up everyone who attended. Hopefully, Dylan will make up for it on the 14th by dropping some serious shapeshifter business.

Haa haaa
It was funny !

I was far to gon in the land of pistness !
After Wilson dropping a bit of hardcore I thought it may go down but didn't really give a fuk anyway, we should have had upstairs.

Not bad though, clear the dance floor in two tracks !! heh heh !

Wilson got handed a red card by some bird asking him to get off, classic !

Thing is the tunes i played weren't even that dark, Digital - Retard and the new Martyn on Revolver ??
Darkish the Digital tune but its hardly Renegade Hardware fodder !

Ohh well, dont play out to the towny massive.

Think its best saved for Audiosalad !
