go on then...whats an amen?
It's one of the classic jungle drumloops, it's taken from a song called "Amen Brother" by The Winstsons, it's from like the 1950's or something. It's speeded up something these days obviously.
It's in so many tracks, i'll have to find a sample of the original - Metrosound uses an amen break, loads of others.

Metrosound uses a break know as the Firefight or Tramen.
It's basically an amen mixed with james brown's tighten up break. The reason they call it tramen is coz trace developed it, I think it was "sonar" on Prototype or something like that.
A new tune with a "clean" amen in is Zinc's Reach out rmx. Or just listen to any Ray Keith tune. Or that tune Mr Xample did.
thanks for that sol, i'm not so good with names and such, i wondered what these kinda "new age" amens were called, tramen it is.. :)

Amen to that ... (ok I'm lost ....) <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
Or just listen to any Ray Keith tune.
So very true. He must only have room for one sample break in his studio. I can't believe he's not sick to death of it yet.
