for those of you who find sick, offensive, and downright evil hip-hop enjoyable, check -

NECRO (particularly his first album) - this is the kind of sheat that "the establishment" are scared of, and quite frankly they should be. but hey.....its all good!!

Im not a massive hip hop fan...well...that is to say...i dont know anough about it to give a really well thought out and cultured top 5...but ill give it a shot:

1. no scandalisng - suger bear (if you havent heard it its the one with the talking heads "making the days go by" backing)
2. NWA - in my automobile
3. A tribe called quest - Electric Relaxation
4. Eric b & Rakim - Paid in full
5. Routs Manuva & charlie 2na - Join the Dots

A mixture of old and new.

To be honest i could probably have filled the whole top 5 with eric b & rakim tunes, or jungle brothers tunes, or nwa tunes, or perhaps just the it takes a nation of millions to hold us back or...

you get the picture.

Im into alot of the early Wu stuff, protek ya neck, chessboxin etc but i think they have kind of lost the plot after Rza's wank Bobby Digital thing... you can get far better hip hop from our own British talent.... Rodney P (Badman), London Posse (old stuff), Braintax (should be prime minister), Jehst (should be deputy prime minister), Mark B & Blade, Aspects (Bristol's Finest), Numskullz (bristol's second finest) Dynamite Mc, Skitz.... oh and while im on the subject Skitz and Rodney P are doing No Fakin soon...and Balckalicious are playing in my Uni guild.... i heard the Beatnuts are doing Manchester soon too...
