Oh my god, what a night.
Sloss was keepin' the temperature at boiling when the place was empty. An i tell you what, when it switched to Sol/Deval back to back, words do not justify. Deval opened with a self produced intro that was so phat it got everyone jumpin'.I like this lads mcing but Deval displayed as much talent on the decks as that of Sol and Si Smith themselves.
Ok MadRush, Tyga 'n' Deval where at optimum performance - especially Tyga, but when Skibba pick that microphone up the crowd went mental man.Hes got these trademark lyrics you can almost sing along to, sheer energy man.I nearly pulled a muscle dancin' to that shit. BC rocked the place out. I can only remember two dud mixes, maybe three but no names mentioned there, and anyway who am I to talk.
Of course, Si Mashed up the venue in the final furlong of the evening. All junglists kept on the dance floor in a last ditch attempt to make the most of the last hour. I was lovein' it man, I only wish my head was thismornin'.
Good to put a few more names to faces - Poi Bobkat Bumfat and missus. Shout outs to Xample 'n' Bane for puttin' me on your next flyer.
Peace.

I seem to remember meeting your good selves Poi and Asok at various times in the night. Nice to meet ya ...
And if anyone is reading this who remembers an accidental double headbutting incident with a lad in a Paper-Recording T-Shirt (moi ..), nice to meet you too.
A big shout-out to the lad that saved me from certain death when I nearly plunged down two flights of stairs (I'm sure there was a pile of human remains at the bottom of them stairs at the end of the night - somebody please stick a sign up !)
Oh yeah, and a big thanks to all the Disc-Jockeys and Rappers playing and singing along to them records with bass and drums in them. Very enjoyable.
:)

Well it sounds like I missed a good nite on Saturday - Gutted!
I was in Manchester so I couldn't be there - besides that I'm still having trouble convincing my Scouse mates that DnB isn't anything like shitty garage!
I am trying to persuade my flat mate to come with me to X to see J Majik in a couple of weeks...
Is Goldie really gonna be there too?

Shit ... All that going off ... and where was I? At a f*#kin hard house/trance nite ...
How gutted was I? Well ... lets just say I spent the entire nite wishing I was @ a certain venue in Liverpool ...
Note to self => if the girlfriend ever changes her mind about where she wants to go 2 hrs before we're due to leave again; kill the bitch.
Note to self #2 => never again use the phrase: "I dont mind - it's up to you" in the desperate hope she's gonna say what I want ...
If I'm @ the next Squiggle without her - it's cos I've buried her under the patio Brookside-style ...
:(
