Kaoss Pad

I'm thinking of getting a Kaoss pad, but have thought of a slight problem

does your mixer need an effects send loop, to enable you to apply the effects to only one deck at a time, or to the whole audio output?

i've never even seen one of the dam things, but i'm thinking that without an effects loop, you would just have to wire it in line with either the left deck, or the right deck, or for the whole master output, as opposed to being able to choose which sound source you apply it to?

i'm probably miles off here but any advice would be appreciated - and does anyone know here you can get one cheapstyle?

hmmm, i have a send and return on each channel on my mixer, sobut im sure you can have the kaoss pad running for both channels...

i guess you could wire both mixer channels to the groups on the kaoss pad...if that makes sense

I think it's best with a send and return coz you can allocate the effect to each channel then but as Woody says it will work generally through both channels.
