Congratulations, and also commiserations, go to second placed mr Old Skool who was gurning a plenty, and up until the end of the night - was the clear winner in the stupid faces competition.

However, he was completely pipped at the end by ravemachine, who was a mess.

I was most impressed, it was a kind of quivering shivering jaw movement complemented by sideways glances and bursts of energetic random chewing. Congratulations old chap.

Well I'm disgusted.

I've been developing my gurning almost week in week out for the last nine years. A lot of time and effort went into Saturday nights stupid grinning/cheek chewing/nose licking antics and I feel like I've been cheated.

I will be complaing to my local Dancefloor-Ombudsman (and dealer) and will also send out letters to the various wank mags such as Mixmag/Muzik/Hello!.

You haven't heard the last of this !

no need to complain, your gurning was of a high standard, and it was evident that you had in fact practiced alot and refined your technique. However, we the judges feel that extra points should be given to someone who manages to get themselves in a total mess, and not even realise. Its this rawness that RaveMachine tapped into on sat night that managed to get him the much sought after prize...

Although, may i add that on the pix we got there is a pic of somelad who im not sure we recognize who is also a mess...check the gallery out soon...
