Just spoke to Andy the guy that keeps the place running and yes it is closed and NO its not turning into a sports bar.
It is currently being ripped to pieces and being completely refurbished. Therefore Higher Forms and any other nights that ICHI will run will not be back up and running until BEAT (or new name if any) reopens. This is hopefully going to be Easter... thank god the rumours were not true!!!
Andy will be phoning me in the future so we can go and have a look at the new club. Sounds good what they are doing anyway.
