alright all,

i'm completely new to this forum so i thought i'd introduce myself

the handle's lekke and i'm a drum & bass addict :)

i'm nowhere near north-west, except maybe north-west of Croatia

yep thats a small country just above adriatic sea

joined this forum cause i have nothing but praise for the people who built and keep this site (NOT ass-lickin!), some of which i know from various mailing lists

i'm startin up yet another drum & bass portal, called eurodnb, which aims at profiling and presenting all the euro-peeps involved with dnb in any way. it's all about the djs/crews, producers and promoters that are spreding the vibe across the countries on this continent (and your little island ;) ). they need to get to know each other better!

it's going to be a LOT of work and we're finishing up the content management system so we can bring in new forces and give them the ability to publish their articles on the site

and once the site launches we'll be in the constant struggle to get new or update existing profiles, event infos etc etc

enough talk, i think i better get back to work; my boss is gonna kill me

oh yeah i work as a desinger & front-end programmer for a london based b2b web based solutions company, and at night I turn into a DJ :)

Well it's not gonna the big, shiny, hi-budget opening party with plenty of supermodels and that stuff (I WISH :slayer: but maybe for the one in Zagreb/Croatia we can fix something :) ) It's more sort of an introduction of eurodnb.com to the Austrians kindly offered to us by the Zendaz crew @ Klagenfurt (it's gonna be on 12.4., only Lekke, I'm still in Milan). We're thiking of having one opening party for every country... hey, as a matter of fact, we're doing this just as an excuse to go around Europe a bit and have some gigs :haha: j/k :)

Anyway, the scene in Croatia is picking up, yes, the things are starting to move (before it was pretty much still, well compared to now at least), we had Rider, Rascal & Klone, Calibre, Aphrodite, Optical, Patife... now I think Peshay & Fierce are coming... I heard something about some other big names coming, but that's all unofficial and I won't talk about that... (Marcus, how about droppin by, I loved your last Back Room set @ The End for Xmas...hey Marcus, are you reading? :slayer: ).

anyways, people, that klagenfurt night is happenin' because we've had the zendaz crew supporting us right from the start, and as a matter of fact I think Geetox set up this date just to put additional pressure on me :)
