runnin reason from cubase

i have reason 2 and want to trigger it from cubase, i have hubis midi link installed and put the cubase output on lb1 and the reason input on lb1 but it dosent come through.:down:

i'm a bit niave when it comes to these things but..........

i've been routing each reason device into a seperate channel each on the green thingy above the mixer, which then makes them triggerable through cubase (sx anyway)

but you do have to open Cubase first, then reason, for it to work, (if you open reason first then cubase it will not work)

this is because cubase must be the master and reason the slave, and when closing it down you do the opposite, reason first, then cubase

you will also need to activate the Rewire thingymajig

i have turnd rewire on and it now comes through on lb1 but not when i put the cubase output to the redrum? the lb1 port seames to not be in sync so i think that my problem lies with the hubis midi link

I have deleated the hubis midi port thingymebob and i am now trying to send the signal to redrum from cubase by selecting redrum on the channel output.

Rewire is on and the audio from reason is comming back through in to cubase fine but the midi from cubase is still not reaching reason:down:

dos any one know what the external control bus in reason should be set to? it dosent give me an option of cubase.
