Got dragged to a Marky G night not-too-long ago ... And it went something like this:

ive never known or seen how a crowd reacts to a Dj like that before....

i myself have been 1 of those people chanting mark egs name while extremely off me swede!
the reason 4 this being that he is actually one of my dj idols who i have a lot of respect 4
the reason crowds chant his name is because he is actually the maddestdj onthe planet
i have seen himsmash up 2 decks with a spade,eat lit ciggys,smash many records over his head and knock himself out from jumpingup and smashinghis head on a iron bar halfway through his set

i like to see djs enjoy themselves and mark in my early raving days took enjoying himself to the max
ive got to know him over the years and he is one of the most dwn to earth djs ive ever met considering he gets paid 350 quid a set and doesnt have 2 speak 2 anyone
he has also never sold out even when gatecrasher were asking him go and play there 4 a grand
so please dont diss him hesstill a dude!

and he once told judge jules hes a overpaid wanker 2 his face once
surely that desrves credit!

yeah man been to the void, used to be regular at kinetic though.
I have also been in the crowd for mark eg, not chanting, but i thought he was pretty good at what he did (the rave purist techno thing).

I thought m-zone was better though and anyone who knows my deep hatred of trance music now might be suprised to hear that.

I did get asked by mark eg in steam one night if I had any pills, to which my mate sold him three and then he proceeded to gob them all in one go.

And then dj very badly but nobody cared.

This is what happened when he played (tech/trance night) Elevate up our way on Jan 25th (as told by Elevate's website):

Then... enter the madman! Mark EG's entrance, dressed as a chainsaw wielding grim reaper, was something you would expect only from the man himself but was certainly very different! Mark then proceeded to punch a teddy bear, roll off the stage and detonate a shower of confetti which covered the stage. All this was done in between mixing some banging tunes!

Mark EG used to be a resident harcore DJ at compulsion (Bowlers). I have never seen a DJ act so frickin mental behind the decks. On numerous occasions i saw him sniffing powder off the mixer and tossing pills into his mouth. I swear that on 1 occasion he was inhaling aerosol through some cloth! He seemed to pay more attention to acting like a lunatiK than he did to his mixing! But hey, it seems to have benefitted his career so...Big up the Nuttbar massive!:p

1st time i went out raving (me and dnb soldier, 15yrs old at the time) we saw mark eg headbutting walls and shit but u could say our musical tastes have all matured slightly since then :conf:
the void ain't a bad venue either, went 2 north a few times there until me ma gripped me doing gurners and wasn't happy about me going there again... :blart:

Mark E.G is a loon, however he has caused me to dance my arse off at several raves, Mark E.G & M-Zone in the rollers at skelter used to go off.
My musical taste has changed but I still have some fond memories of Mr EG's sets.

i remember in skelter when he used 2 hold out his can of carling and people would just rush over and drop pills into it..
about 6 or 7 at a time...
he needed rehab!!!
