I've not seen or heard anything bout this locally ... Nor has anyone I know ...
Thought it might be at the Hendre (did Tim mention 3 arenas on Friday?) -- but lookin on the Hendre website; I don't see any mention of it (and they do usually list events) ...
Would have thought something like this would at least have had some promotion locally!

(Could be imagining this - but) did someone on Friday mention £12 entry?
£12?! Hmm :hmm: ... Depending how I feel on Sunday, that price could be the difference bewtween "waahaaay! and "fuck that!"
Guess we'll just have to wait for more info
(nudge, nudge @ Sol / Tim etc :D )

OK found it.
The location is a "secret"; but there are only 200 tickets for the event - which is to take place in a "medieval hideaway".
So it's the Hendre then ...
Check here for more details:

And a certain Jim Nasium (ahem) posted about this on the 25th Feb -- cheers very much for the heads-up on that one Bane ... NOT! :blart:
Seems it's now too late to reserve tickets (if there are any left); and any remaining tickets are for sale at the Magnet (0151 709 6969) and Bulletproof :(

@ Bane -- next time try harder! :nene:
Anyhoo ...
Had a quick email exchange with Will n Rich @ Chibuku.
Basically all reserved tickets are gone (but I think they were more to do with gettin seats on the buses, than actually getting in).
Anyone wants tickets, there are still some left, available from the Magnet (0151 709 6969) @ £12 each.
Phone em tomorrow about 5-ish, pay with credit / debit card, and the tickets can be left for collection on the door.
@ GONE4SMOKE1 -- If you phone em, explain that you live up here & don't need the buses!
Lineup :-
Mr Scruff (Keep It Unreal)
Simon DK (DIY Nottingham)
Different Drummer Sound System
Phat Phil Cooper (Chibuku)
Kev Bulletproof (San Fran)
Futurebound (X)
Les Ryder (Magnet)
Dom Chung & Leo Belchetz (Chibuku)
Tribulation Rockers Dub Sound System
Oh ... and a coupla guys called Sol n Xample too (dunno who they are though :p )
Venue is still "secret" but I'm pretty sure it's the Hendre ...
Perhaps Sol / Xample can confirm this?
Honestly, no one will tell...

Friend of a friend works at the Hendre; and gave me the response "How did you find out?!"
So it's at the Hendre then :D Cushtie
Also heard mention (from above person) that tickets can be got for £7-ish if you're not using the bus(es) to get there and back (but this isn't confirmed).
Tickets n further details -- ring the Magnet after 5pm today.

Tickets available from the Waterloo pub in Bangor @ £7 without the cost of the bus.
Get a fuckin move on though -- only about 20 left this afternoon!
If there's none left, ring the Magnet (0151 709 6969) n speak to Rose if possible.
Pay by credit / switch card & it can be sorted for tickets to be left on the door.
Hurry though -- Don't think the Magnet had that many left either!
p.s Definately the Hendre. And don't arrive too late - the doors are gonna be shut n locked once everyone's in.
No tickets being sold on the door.

Oh bugger he's back!
:moon:  :laff:
The Waterloo denied all knowledge of selling tickets when a mate of mine went round there - something smells dodgy to me!
It's also commkon knowledge round these parts now so it's going to be gatecrashed by a fair few people I reckon!
This thing is @ The Hendre.
Set times for dnb.
10 - 12 : Futurebound
8 - 10 : Mike someone or other
6 - 8 : Sol & Xample
4 - 6 : Codec

Sol, Xample, Bane, Sloss, Roscoe - it was good to finally meet you all. Quality sets by all who played as well. It's a shame it was a bit quiet at times but thats the nature of a three room venue when it's half full I suppose.
Sorry if ive forgotten someone - I was a bit worse for wear!
