Leet Recordings proudly presents a new digital based record label called Intersection Records. We have been very busy over the last few months getting everything together and now we are finally ready to release our new project on the public. Intersection is an experiment into the unknown. Digital content delivery is unfamiliar territory in a scene that over the last two decades has been driven by vinyl. Over the past three years Leet Recordings have delivered eight vinyl releases, a tall order for any “small” independent. We’ve helped bring through some of today’s new breed, and now we will be doing the same, but embracing new technologies. While we are certain this music is good enough for vinyl release, we feel that in order for labels to survive the model needs to be adapted. Labels need to adopt new strategies and not shy away from new openings and opportunities.

So why Intersection and not Leet? We haven’t given up on vinyl, not by a long shot. We wanted simply to draw some distinction between the two. Leet Recordings tracks are available digitally, but only in a back catalogue capacity. With this project we wanted to do something that was exclusively digital. So instead of creating a totally new brand we adopted the name of our small breakbeat vinyl sublabel for use on the drum and bass digital releases. From here on, all Intersection releases will be strictly digital only.

So whats in store? heres the release dates, audio and press releases.

i remember they said vinyl would die when cd's first came out ;) imo there's room for it all, the more methods of playing music the better i think...and final scratch is just like using vinyl, i use it myself, i buy mp3s and records...and remember not all dnb lovers are djs with the means to play records :)

true, but not every DJ has access to them to practice, and those who don't, wouldn't have the confidence to use it in a club. I agree with what you said earlier there is room for all formats. embrace them i say. i personally have a cdj so i'm not arsed. i know some of the guys on here don't though which is why i looked at it from their perspective. good luck with it all man ;)
