As far as i know there is no dress code and never will be.... I dont think drum and bass events want to attract townies in their gleaming shiny shoes and Ben Shermans.
You can get tickets at 3 beat, their about a tenner.

When there is nights on @ Nation I think the dress code is down to those who are organising it, and the bouncers just enforce it.

i.e when Cream is there, the door staff can be right up their own ass about what u wearin; but it's pretty relaxed when Bugged Out is there.

Thanx everyone... I just asked because after living here for a couple of years now I have discovered that this town seems to have an obsession with the "no trainers thing". As a DnB girl I love my trainers and resent having to wear stupid girlie shoes on a nite out in Liverpool.

But with it being DnB I should be OK to wear my comfy trainers shouldn't I?

Now all I have to do is talk my flat mate into coming with me - she isn't a fan of DnB!

Hopefully c u at X

i can safely tell you that in all my years of ravin i've never (and never will be) turned away from any club on a dnb night for bussin kicks.

people can save those bullshit dress codes for their "sweet n sexy" "brownsuga" "ragga bumhole pickin" garage bashments.

A simple golden rule in life: DON'T GO ANYWHERE THAT SOME1 IS GONNA TRY N TELL YOU WHAT TO WEAR...standard! ;)

Bobkat certainly knows the score, any flyer that says "Dresscode: Smart and Sexy etc." dont go, it will be shit. How can a bouncer justify letting someone in purely cos they are wearing "shiny" shoes. Does wearing shiny shoes make you a different class and a better person or something.....It's bullshit, save it for the townies and lush boys!!

I heartily agree - its a philosphy ive always liked. I hate being told what to wear. Now this doesnt mean I havent been to clubs with dress code because another way to look at it is (for example) - I like Justin Robertson, I like his music that much i dont care if i have to put a fucking tutu on to go and listen to him...but still im a tshirt, jeans and trainers boy.

I used to love the fact you could go to maximes, bowlers and kinetic an all the clubs i used to go to wearing wtf you like - and that meant on the odd cheesy swing your pants saturday night out to a townie club i didnt give a shit about shirt n pants...

Ive been to cream many times and have wore trainers for a saturday night and tshirt, as do many people in there. The bouncers ive seen there have never once give me trouble. Its when you get things like "gatecrasher red and black night" were you have to go dressed in red and black - now THATS pathetic (IMO).

All dance clubs should have a policy of wear what you want - Cream contrary to popular belief does pretty much...its places like the 051 in town and the other scouse clubs that are like rockport boots and lacoste only that are bad. Sankeys in manchester is pretty easy to get in in what you want - and I think alot of clubs are still like that. Still, im ranting on here - big up anywere that will let you in wearing shorts, thats what i say!!! :D

And brogues.

ahahaha

The most f*ckin dumb dress code I have ever seen was:
"Smart is an art"
Think it was for some nite @ Moneypennys ... But what the f*ck it meant I have no idea...
