Repercussion is a midweek remedy for people who want to hear some different sounds to the norm in a chilled and intimate environment, so for our launch night at the Lizard Lounge in the heart of Nottingham we welcome two of the finest d&b DJs around.
Expect deep and grooving sounds of the highest calibre from 1Xtra and Swerve resident DJ Flight, and a selection of past, present and future cuts for the headz from one of the pioneering producers of the last decade - the man like Klute.
In support is the DOA connection - ref83 and trouble (aka Dog On The Moon ) on the decks, alongside Stirlin and Manikular on microphone duties.
Downstairs there's a live hip-hop PA from Cappo; live latin, jazz and funk rhythms from London's Clownfish; and hip-hop, electro, funk, house and anything else in-between from the Reason Soundsystem. DJs X-Calibre and Xs.If will be dropping hiphop old and new, with a streak of turntablist antics for good measure.
The venue is plush with a crisp sound system and loads of space to both dance and chat, and we're looking for an really intimate and friendly midweek vibe, so come down and feel the repercussion......entry's only £4 before 10pm so get there early!
