Where the fuck did you get the Big Bad Bass album from?
He hasnt got it - He's been rinsing it in his dreams.
Or on his Mp3 Decks ;)
I didnt say "tunes i have that are floating my boat" i said "tunes that are floatingmy boat" - admitted i got most of em, but not that.
Although Sol seems to be psychic....
I got a couple of new things which are nice.
Something by Hazard on Grid.
On the promo side:
The new Dillinja tune on Test.
Something off a label called Jak audio - dunno who its by.
And this ragga thing that BC played as their 1st track on Sat by The Rawhill Cru called Mo Fire / Wo De Hoo / Firefight.

I thought it was too good to be true :D :D
Been a bit quiet on the record buying front, after my two week binge! Picked up the new renegade hardware ep, which is the best thing on the label for a long long time.
Other tunes which are doing it for me:
New mix of Mutated by Concord dawn
The new Bac company licks Torpedo & The Hornet
Sonic & Silver rmx of Trace's Sniper
New summer tune to match LK - Barcelona by Mindmachine (D-Kay)
Plenty more tunes, there's so much quality about!

My mate, Mr. Dick, has got the original pressing. He lives in Withington now though so i'll have to get it copied the next time I go and visit my bro.
Might be a couple of weeks , if you can wait that long Ade?

i might have a copy myself by then (fingers crossed) on 12" but of course this is likely to fall through and yeah man, i just want the tune to listen to - it has a lot of setimental value to me, i stress aswell that the Baby D one was pants and i never aknowledged it, it was all about this one.
makes me think of all the good times, the good people, its just pure sunshine on a record, you know them rare tunes that just make your spine tingle no matter how old they are and how many times you have heard them.
i need it in my life.
safe G, when your down, give us a shout and pop in if you have time.

Yep thats the one.
The NRG one is the original and best IMO. So many different versions were done but none of them touched the original.
'Ere Ade, do you remember that tune with the vocal that went ".....It's 4 o'clock in the morning and its starting to get light." It was sampled from some '80's pop record. That was another cracker. :slayer:

no thats the 'naughty naughty' version, came out about a couple years later, round 93/94 time.
This version was the one that got blasted at raves like Fantazia etc by the Ratpack.

yeah i got that one - was also another golden tune from golden days, i had the remix that was done by mike slammer et co, it was question mark 3 (???) then i sold it - DOH!!!!
the tune that was sampled was Beverley Craven 'promise me' which was written for the 1st gulf war - it was about her bloke going to war and her last night with him before he left for iraq, was a number 1 if i remember.
You light up another cigarette
and I pour the wine
It's four o'clock in the morning
and it's starting to get light
now I'm right where I want to be
losing track of time
but I wish that it was still last night
You look like you're in another world
but I can read your mind
how can you be so far away
lying by my side
when you go away ill miss you
and i will be thinking of you
every night and just.........
chorus
im not sure if that is right but they sampled the first bit of each verse and spliced them together to get the sample you hear. crossed over nicely for people of their pins who want to be brought up at 4am.

OH NO!!!! Gutted for you mate. That tune is rarer than chickens teeth. The breaks on that tune were like nothing I heard before the first time I heard it. Think it was on a Fantazia tape or video.
