Last time Marky was at Sankeys he was absolutely amazing, best DJ set i'd seen in months and months and months. Definitely won't be missing this one!

thanks 4 everyones help on tellin me where it was .. i couldnt find me flyer anywhere so had 2 marchy on dwn 2 manchester city centre not even knowing what road it was on or nuffin..
me and 3 of me mates smokin up me mates brand new audi lookin badly on top askin all and sundry where sankeys was in our terrible scouse tones!!
finally found it at 11.35....and was shocked by what i found..

I missed this night because i had work in the morning and with the job that im in, being head fucked does me no favours!
Im just wondering why the 'Spellbound' nights are held on a Thursday? Obviously there are going to be a lot of Students who don't have to worry about getting up in the morning that will go on Thursdays, but, what about us workers??
Some of the names that have been playing at spellbound recently e.g Zinc, Marky, Kosheen etc etc are just NOT to be missed,but, i have to miss them because of my job:cry:

Surely there would be a greater turn out of people if 'Spellbound' was held on the weekend!

It isnt often you get the BIG names in town so i think everyone should have the chance to go and see em, instead of worrying about getting sacked:agree:

It will take a lot for Friday's Tribal Sessions and Saturday's Redlight, to get moved off the weekend spots @ Sankeys - they're every week - and 2 of the most established club nights in the country..

It's a shame, but the sad truth.

I know thursday's can't be done every week but, every couple of months you could go out on a thursday to see something really special - take a day off or have a day at work feeling like shit.

I agree that weekends are obviously better, but i think Sankey's is by far the best venue in Manchester, with the fattest system.
I think it's worth that extra effort to go to, & I'm prepared to sacrifice a weekend night for that.

I have something very, very, very special planned for June

I got my arse down to this one and what a night!!! Stev - I got to say I was a bit sceptical about weekly d'n'b nights esepcially with line ups like that (mostly because I can't make it to most of them) but that was amazing. The amount of people in there who had to work the next day as well was amazing!

Dj Marky - what can I say..........what a nutter. I thought Si liked to bounce about behind the decks but he was something else! Amazing mixing, amazing scratching - just all out amazing!!

Sound system was the phattest I have heard in a long while. I could feel my hair dancing about!!!! :slayer:

Big up to all involved and let's hope that Samkeys becomes available for weekend sessions!!
