Creamfields 2002

Anyone seen / heard what the Metalheadz tent lineup is for Creamfields 2002? All the listings I can find are just the dance acts ... no mention of D&B (cept Kosheen - but do they count?!) <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

But creamfields is always over my birthday so I'll be there whatever !

Unfortunately there is no drum and bass tent this year :mad: . There is a very small amount of drum and bass on what they are calling the main stage. I think the line up is futurebound, kosheen (Live) and roni size.

I must say im quite annoyed by this. Funny place, cream. Constantly trying to change ther epolicy to make sure they keep up with the times (or try and stay cool), and constantly shoot themselves in the foot. As I type this, its currently creams last night with the infamous (to those who go often) courtyard, with super dj (ahem) paul oakenspunk. They have to close it down because they arent doing very well.

Now - with the current resurgance in drum n bass and ALL the other festivals in the country having big drum n bass tents this year - Creme decide to fuck it off. I dont understand. Once again they prove they dont have much touch with the public that buy the tickets. I love creamfields - one because its local, two because the lineup is usually quite varied (the big beat boutique tent and the bugged out tent are always pretty good)...and three because its one of the only times you get grooverider, goldie, roni, etc etc etc all under the same roof up here...

Nice one creme for fuxcking up what is usually one of my best days out in summer.

I thought the Metalheadz tent was great last year. The one thing about it that pissed me off (like with most outdoor do's is the sound system being a bit crap).

Still probably gonna end up going though. It's literally down the road innit. I always find it quite funny to be completely twatted on the way on the 82 with all these pensioners staring at me tut tutting. I thought the Bugged Out tent was quite good last year but preferred the Boutique that time with Xpress2 and the like. Mind you Umek is on this year and rumours are that DJ Hell will be on too so Bugged Out it is.

One thing I fucking hate about Creamfields though is the amount of fucking scallies there are. How many people did I meet last year who either had caps stolen, mobiles robbed whilst using them (!) and cars broken into....
