News just in:: EXTRA 2.5K SOUNDSYSTEM!! This is brand new for this night, we've always brought our own system down but this time we've got something very special. For the size of the venue, its gonna blow the roof off!

9pm - 2am - £3.50 before 10.30 - £4.50 after - £3 NUS all night.

i havent got a night mate, fair play for running one, its just they are all the same. I've been to gutterfunk before and had a good time but i could tell you what was gonna happen without going everytime...

I think me and Adam are planning to come down for this one. He's taking me birthday present shopping on the saturday, might as well do it all on the same weekend. Gutterfunk on the friday night and shopping in manchester on the saturday. If we can find a hotel that is, trying to book the ibis at the moment. A few people have suggested this hotel, cos its only cheap

Harrumph. I'm well pissed off I didn't make it down. I was out in town on a crappy leaving do, stuck in Yates Wine Bar of all fucking shit places, with fucking shit music (it was 80's night) full of fucking shit people with fucking shit attitudes with fucking shit drinks at fucking shit prices all talking about fucking shit.
I forgot the street address of Gutterfunk and the club it was in or I would have jumped in a taxi and got the fuck out of Dodge to the G'funk. In spite of many, many pleading SMS messages to Adam and Rhian, begging them to send the address, no reply was forthcoming. Unbeknownst to me, they had declined to take their phones out with them and my increasingly desperate messages fell on deaf ears. I was trapped in pisshead purgatory with no way out. The only time I smiled was when they chucked me out at the end.

Just got back after last night, after doing some serious spending on Adam's credit card!!!
Thanks Joe and Gareth for a really good night, I really did enjoy myself. At one point the place was bouncing!! Not very busy though, but better cos not too hot and enough room to swing my legs!!!

Gutterfunk was wicked the other night. Had loadsa fun. Cheers Adam and Rhian for putting up with me for the night. Some quality sets played that night and the extra soundsystem worked really well. Gaz, sort them bassbins out as well and it will absolutely kick. :slayer:

Also, good to see antix, senci, joe, gaz, swiss jungle, si, daze and any1 i've missed!
