I though Id tell everyone how good a night they missed when Ive just come back from it. Im a bit :mashed: but there we go.

I didn't want to do this cause it makes me feel like a cunt; but I'm gonna explain (one last time!) just why the policy is strictly FUNKY at the Waterloo ...

1. IT'S A LITTLE PUB!
2. It's N.Wales - i.e most people are pretty DnB ignorant,
3. Passing trade accounts for 1/2 the people in the place,
4. It's 4 rooms - and the DJ can only see one of them.

So ...
1. People want tunes they can wiggle about to with a drink in their hand,
2. Break em in gently,
3. If you scare them off - They won't come back,
4. You can't see the reactions of 80% of the people in there (shitty I know, but unavoidable) - but I can as I wander around.

Summed up; if I say "tone it down", it means:
1. People that you can't see are not happy,
2. People are leaving,
3. People are walkin straight past the pub looking scared,
4. We're gonna end up with an empty pub,
5. Empty the pub - And Rewind (and you) will not be going back anytime soon,
6. Tone it down :p

Trust -- If I had my way you'd have been dropping Dylan, Loxy, Spirit, Digital :slayer: etc etc all night ... But that wouldn't exactly build us a base to build on now would it? (shame though!)
Draw em in gently ... Get em used to the sweet sounds of jungle ... And once we have a lil regular following going - then we start to broaden their horizons for em ... Simple init! :rolleyes:

Personally I thought that line of thinking/logic was pretty much spot-on ... :rolleyes:

Most people readin about these nights won't realise the kinda problems we're having to contend with ... bloody philistines up here n all :(
