When it was announced that X was moving to Nation, a lot of people had doubts, especially with regards to Nation's nazi security force...
Well I went last night, and let me put a few minds at rest. Yeh, the security has quite a presence, and there IS secondary searches in the venue once you passed the door search - but I didnt see any secondary searches happening.
I saw a coupla lads gettin "helped" out, but I think it was cos they was smokin weed - the kind of thing ya can't really get away with in there.
So I'd say; if ya goin to X and u got class As/Bs with ya, just keep em somewhere where ya can either: ditch it quick n easy, or somewhere they cant search if ya get pulled for one of these secondary things.
On the downside, the bar prices are high compared to Sophonic or Squiggle; but on the upside, the sound rig is F*CKIN LOUD!!! It was kickin so much last night that the floor wasn't just vibrating - it was f*ckin JUMPING!!
The main room of the annex was packed out; total mad party goin on - people just dancing anywhere and everywhere.
Got to admit I was one of them that had doubts about Nation as a venue; but I been proved wrong - IT KICKS ASS!
