I started practicing scratching over dnb (before I mostly used hiphop for practice beats)... hit me with a comment on this. If you like it and how would you like it to be... etc.

scratch over c4c - blindside (http://www.camdivision.hr/~mlokas/scr.mp3)

It's kinda difficult keeping the constant flow with faster routines... my fingers start to hurt. C'mon, I know there are some scratched souls on this forum...

quite good, as it is very hard to keep yor speed scratchin to dnb.
hiphop speed is much easier and you seem to keep it together,

keep on practicing and get more of a routine going, with a bit more variety. as you practice yor tricks will become quicker and dnb will become 'easier' to scratch to!

wicky wicky wah!

it's ok.

I recon you needent try and go as fast all the time.
Try and and put more pauses in. It would sound less hectik if you phrased the scratches as well.

Keep it up.

So few Djs bother to learn to scratch.

Corea, how do you put up a link to a sound file like that?
I just got broadband at home, and want to have a go.

I have to practice more, I just started warming up my fingers after 2 weeks of not touching any vinyl or a crossfader. The trap I always fall into is that I easily get stuck into the same routines. Knowledge leads to variety... they say...

scratching has a place on dnb, entity have a scratch dj working with them called "dogs pocket."

He tends to keep it minimal, not all over the tunes. I think it works. Keep at it!
