sift through the mess until you find what you are looking for (http://forum.nwdnb.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=606)

i personally recommend www.dmusic.com cos they upload your music within 15-20 minutes whereas other sites make you wait a week or so to check the files. but if you have copyrighted music uploaded, they will cancel your account immediately.

Hi, i've been on that tripod thing and registered.

it seems to work...but.

i want to put a tune on. you got 20meg.
so wave too big. so i made it an MP3 2.4meg..but after waiting aaages for it to upload, it just comes up with all code. (Gay).

So i tried a wav file, just a snare. it worked fine.
So then i reduced the quality of the tune as a Wav till it was just under 20meg. This took bloody ages, and came back as that code bollocks.

I would prefer to upload an MP3 on it and let people stream it, rather than waiting to download.

can this be done on Tripod?

I also tried that other one, dmuisc, and whenever i create an account it wont work.

what connection you got mate?

you will need at least broadband to upload big files, it takes like 10 times longer to upload than download or something like that, so it isn't gonna happen on a 56k!

(sorry if you already know all this, just in case you didn't!)
