CREAMFIELDS 2007 SET FOR BANK HOLIDAY HEATWAVE

Creamfields fans can pack their sun cream and bikinis safe in the knowledge that a heatwave has been predicted for this year’s event – the soaring temperatures for Creamfields 2007 are even expected to rival those at the Spain and Argentina Creamfields.

Weather boffins have looked in to their crystal ball and are predicting that the summer will finally be upon us, just in time for the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Temperatures are tipped to nudge the thirties and the hot weather will offer respite from the mud baths that have been an unwelcome feature throughout this summer’s festival circuit, and to prepare for the upturn in conditions Creamfields organisers are stocking-up on Strongbow cider, with sales of the beverage set to overtake beer for the first time at this year’s festival.

Andrew Bond from Metcheck says: “Azores high is finally nudging north bringing dry, sunny and hot weather to the UK. After all the washout festivals this summer, Creamfields looks set to bring the summer back with style”

Jade Garrow, Strongbow Account Director commented: “We’ve been noticing a sharp rise in cider sales over the past few years, but it looks like it is 2007 – our fifth year running the Strongbow Ciderhouse at Creamfields – is the year it will finally overtake lager as the number one drink of choice.“

James Barton Creamfields CEO said: “Everyone is keeping their fingers crossed that it will be a nice and sunny day, so its fantastic news that good weather is being predicted.”

Creamfields 2007 takes place on Saturday 25th August Bank Holiday weekend, with a line up that includes: The Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada, Kelis, Mark Ronson, LCD Soundsystem, Carl Cox, Erick Morillo, 2ManyDJs, Ferry Corsten, David Guetta, Eddie Halliwell + many more.

i have this thing about strongbow, getting pissed on it from an early age and being ill means i dont have a liking for it.

I only started drinking cider again 2 years ago after not drinking it for about 13 years - i can manage magners and bulmers and some home made stuff but any other cider - nah.

Oh Ade it definately resembles cat piss and reminds me of been drunk fallin off park benches but when ravin its the only thing really i drink, i dont like lager, bottles are a defo no no, a can/pint of cider does the job nicely and lasts longer and is normally cheaper and somehow seems refreshing at the time... i think it justs adds to the grimey experience, raving in a field, covered in mud, lookin like a tramp... a can of strongBOH defo goes wiv the look haha

I dont drink it on a normal night out, wine, brandy and vodka are my choice of drink.

Oh and Pear cider is yummy and the strongboh fruit cider is delic and comes in a wine glass wiv ice so looks more classy hehe

i will never touch strongbow again after going creamfields 2yrs ago (i begrudged paying £3 for 1/2 size can of stella so i was drinkinking that all night)
it made me feel so ill , i left creamfields after doing more speed & kirsty + lyndon had a load of haze back @ theres + i felt so ruff i came straight home (pity i couldnt sleep + curled up in a ball + vowed never to drink it again)
