*PLEASE READ ALL THIS BEFORE GOING TO THE SITE*
Yes folks - at long last, after what seems like an eternity for myself, Roscoe, and the other members of the Eastern Bloc universe...the site is ready to go live. This site has been a labour of love for me now for about 10 months - and i think its just about nailed now.
This very forum is the first place on the whole tinternet universe that the site address has been published, and Id like you the good people of NWDNB to help me (and the shop) out.
The site needs testing. Testing, testing and...more testing. I have put the site up in its current full state (there are a few more pages to be added like the rather cool staff pages)...BUT...you cannot yet really buy the tunes. You can do everything else - but when you get to the checkout page were you pay - the details are already filled in for you. Please continue though and use these details to complete the order...you will get a mail confirmation and all that pullava.
The details arent real by the way - so dont go trying to buy hardcore porn or anything with them (or do - but fail).
What - you ask - do you get in return for helping me test the site? Simple - the site will realistically go "live" with full payment in about a weeks time, and when it does - everyone who has registered by that time from NWDNB will get a 5% discount on the order. Not massive maybe, but better than a kick in the dick.
Please do the following though:
1. Dont post the address of the site on any other forums, lists etc. Not yet.
2. Dont tell anyone else about it or to test it - I trust the NWDNB community i helped create, i dont want any dicks fucking about with it in testing status.
3. Please help me find all the little bugs that are sure to be in there. Send me mail at support@easternbloc-records.co.uk or asok@nwdnb.co.uk...i'll pick up either.
4. Please make suggestions - this site is for yuo the user. I will take anything serious and realistically acheivable on board.
5. Dont expect to get your records delivered off the test site :)
OK then - thats about it. The eastern bloc records site will probably be run quite closely to NWDNB - and although the catalogues look a little bare at the moment dont worry - more tunes are being added every day, and the order of them is getting sorted out. Expect many promotions for Eastern Bloc exculsively here on NWDNB - and i hope that some of you become regulars as i really did build it with you in mind. No shit.
