I'm having problems at the mo maintaining a steady inflow of promo's. I have to say Liverpool is shite for buying tunes. What's Manchester like. Any of you wanna sort me out...
Ez Sloss,
I get a lot of things set just by hounding labels with info / profiles / flyers and what I doing at the moment.
You could try <a href="http://www.dubplates.org" target="_blank">www.dubplates.org</a>
Its a thing run by Nu-urban - it sell promos over the net.
There's also a members section - if ya can prove u've played at 5 different nights (by sending em flyers) u can get all the latest TP's for £2.50 each !
Oh and also regually try . . .

ez
In manchester, in an area no bigger than a shoe box (well maybe a bit bigger but still like one street near enough) over near Afflecks Palace, you have the following record stores:
Spin Inn
Vinyl Exhange
Picadilly Records
Eastern Bloc
Fat City
That means that in about one hour you can visit all these shops in that little area and soak all the promo#s up. Liverpool aint too hot for record shops but manc is...

but you gotta realise that you cant just walk into a shop and get the latest ram promo or whatever. you gotta start goin in and get to know the people who work there, spend a bit of cash EVERY WEEK!!!!! and then you will get sorted out.
there is about 8/10 people who get regular promos at the spin-inn cos they have been coming in for 5,6,7 years.
