Yeah, Boxcutter's album was the best of 2006 methinks, along with Zero DB's - what I've heard of the new one seems like its of a similar standard.... been loving the new radiohead album too... I wonder how much they'd be to book...?

Hi there,

First of all apologies to ravergyal - what time did you get down? It is not true at all that non-students aren't allowed in, plenty were there - I just think that we hit capacity at about 11.45 and the bouncers were using any excuse to stop anymore ppl coming in. At the end of the day we have to allow the bouncers to use their own discretion to keep them sweet cos they have a streesful job. As it was our birthday and 2 headliners we are not usually so busy - I tried to let ppl know that it's be busy and they had to get down there.

Anyway, I hope everyone who got in had a top night. Once it hit 1am I managed to start enjoying myself!

Many thx to Bane who killed it, and all the posters on this forum who have supported the night over the last year. Really appreciate it.

Hope to catch some of you next week - Wilf in the building! :badger:

yeah that is probably the best night i have been to in ages in manchester alix pirez is on fire right now i have been out with 4/5 times in the last few weeks and hes smacking it and monday night 400 people on reason n sonar u deserve it and long may it continue !!
