Ez y’all.
Linked below is a studio version of the set I played last Saturday before Dom&Roland’s gig at Absurd Groove event in Krakow / Poland. The idea was to simply get people into bootyshaking but there’s some deeper D’n’B included in there too.
Again, the main concept behind the mix is to stretch the formula a bit, just like the “Fuck The Subgenres” mix this one’s all about researching the techier side of D’n’B but moving in all directions from Neuro via Tech to Pots’n’Pans and more Atmo rollers and transitioning the vibe swiftly. Hence the name.
Got to say I’m quite happy with the set as it did it’s job on the dancefloor and still manages to function quite well as a home listening material.
Oh yeah, I’m quite proud of putting a bit of a smile on Dom’s face when I played his Thunder RMX (well at least it seemed so, haha).
