Nice one mate! :slayer:
Here it goes... I like the flow around around 0.33, nice clean work with both cutting and record moving... I can hear an occasional crab, spicy. I like the fact that you don't abuse them (maybe cause they're tuff to get down :) I still can't crab in a controlled way). I like the part around 4.30 when you enter with the high violin and while cutting you try to follow the melody by fiddling with the pitch (are you in normal or battle position?). Nice one, I like that, it's not only about crazy crossfader work but also about musicality and flow.
All summed, good clean scratching, and no abuse of any kind. I'll try to get a routine going as soon as my 06 arrives... and post something up!
ps. what mixer you rockin there? and tt's and needles? 44-7?

the decks are in "battle mode" . I didn't know it was called that.
They're turned 90 degrees anti clockwise. It's good for getting the Neddles out of the way, so you don't knock them, and the buttons are close to the mixer.
I was trying hard not to do too much, it's always the danger of going spastic and it just goes all wank.
i was using a Gemini UMX-7 £150. Does the job at a good price.

I know, it's easy to go wacko and lose the groove out of sight. I'm thinkin, maybe we can throw a little online battle, just for fun. Somebody prepares a dnb beat to scratch over, and everybody does posts his file with scratching somewhere... :afro:

Me and Rasp have just been having a little practice.
They're a bit rough and ready - and there's plenty of abuse
Anyway - back to the hip hop...

Props to Rasp - that's the first time he's tried scratching to D&B ever!
