Don't know if this is true with other platforms, but I've noticed that with 360 games there seems to be this annoying trend for games to have these long, drawn-out, cinematic cut scenes; which you can't seem to skip.
CoD4 has a few, and recently Assassin's Creed has been annoying me with it's cut-scene "story development".
Sure they look all nice, but personally I can't be arsed with them!
I just wanna hit a button, skip the theatrics, and get on with killing people and blowing shit up!
