Well i've posted this on breakbeat.co.uk may as well put it here too..

I was there and yes - it was a hurrendous, disgustingly disgraceful let down. The party atmosphere/crowd and music/dj's were KICKING- that is, for what time the organisers allowed it to run.

Can you believe this? It was supposed to finish at 4am, but they turned off ALL the music at 2am. Plus it opened 20 minutes late. I have never, ever, ever in my clubbing life known of anything as pitiful as this happening, and if you were as unlucky as us, and left when the music went off at 2am, you wont know that Goldie did play his set after an argument in the car park with the promoter, but he still got cut short and the whole thing finished at 3.15. What a disgrace.

Whats more, ONE NATION, i think you guys knew ALL ABOUT these problems before you even started letting people in. It was a licensing problem as one of the DJ's told me, the license wasnt valid past 2am (WHY OH WHY PUT 4AM ON THE FLYER?!). The promoter basically MESSED UP THE WHOLE THING. And did anyone notice how they weren't giving you back the retainable portion of the tickets? So no proof you paid, or even turned up. I RECKON THEY KNEW ABOUT THE LICENSE BEFORE IT EVEN STARTED. UTTERLY UNACCEPTABLE.

I've been to GoodGreef at the same venue a few times, and they organised the whole venue a HELL OF A LOT BETTER. ONE NATION, we know you franchised this event but that is NO EXCUSE to allow useless morons to organise your supposedly legendary events. Are you going to keep letting idiots use and TARNISH your name? I'm sure i can speak for the majority of people who attended this event, in that I have no desire to EVER go to a ONE NATION event again, what a shamble.

Maybe the people who organised it thought, just because it wasn't promoted in a big way like the Rex One Nation's are, they could get away with ripping us all off. 15 quid for less that 4 hours of music? I curse you.

Oh, and to all those who joined in with our session of BOOOOing and shouting REFUND once the music had been cut short, BIG UP! - We were making some serious noise, i'm sure they knew just how annoyed we were!

ONE NATION YOU DISGUST ME - i never thought i'd hear myself say that. Lets hear your views anyone else who attended..
</rant>

-- Well theres my mini essay on the thing - i had a fucking wicked night but the promoters bollocksed it up big time. Aparrently too, if you didn't have a ticket you couldn't buy one on the door - had to go and get one from the promoter in the car park at £20 or £25 instead of £13.50!! It just gets worse and worse..

This one nation thing sounds like a total shambles...

I can confirm that you couldnt pay on the door...a mate of mine (Dany) phoned up to see if we could pay ont he door but they said no, we had to buy a ticket off the car park from a "tout" (what kind of bollocks is that).

So then we were told apparently by some dodgy mobile phone number that a music shop in rusholme was selling tickets, so phoned them, and they told dany that they were sellin tickets...then 2 seconds later said they werent.

What a joke.

I agree that this One Nation things is a load of bollocks...
