Free VST synths and effects

does anyone know any sites that you can download good free vst synths and effects. been to that KVR one (if thats what its called). are there any effects that have automatic rising and falling LFO's?

If you've got a fast net connection then why not use Kazza or WinMX and download pretty much any software that's available.

ive only got internet use on a pc but need vsts which work on my mac, kazza only comes up with vsts for pc even if you use a mac os search filter. if you have any names of vsts you rate and also effects i'd like to hear em, narrow down the search a bit. cheers. Actually would everyone like to put down there top 5 effects. mine are-ohmboys

thats about it really, couldnt think of 5, quite a lot of mine dont work cos ive got a dodgey copy of logic 4.8.

all the ohmforce stuff is great, also cant live without waldorf d-pole, izotope trash and ozone..and the waves plugins are pretty essential too, as for vst instruments.. fm7, absynth and pro 53 should cover most stuff that hardware doesnt..

and for good filesharing software thats fast and has loads of nice warez..

Where did you get the public hub list from though? I have the dc++ program but it said they don't have the hub list anymore and then gave some other url. I went there and there was fuck all...
