Using Direct X with VST Instruments

Does anyone know if you can use direct x pluggins on Vst synths in cubase SX? I have tried briefly to sort it out but all I can find are shitty midi effects.:conf:

Yes, try to open up all available channels on the mixer (keep checking and pressing icons on the left hand side of the mixer) and you should find non-Midi channels to the far right of the mixer next to the Master. You can then put in your Direct X plug ins as you would on an audio channel.
