Hi everyone - I want to start by saying thank you for all the feedback on the Kam mix competition entry - The biggest criticism I received is that the mix didn't really have a structure. One minute a chilled liquid tune would be played and then the next minute a jump up tune or techy tune would come on.

This mix has been much more carefully planned out with with alot of emphasis on (to use an old cliché) taking the listener on a journey. It starts with jump up, winds down to liquid and then builds back up into a techy finish rather than just tunes of different energy levels thrown together in a random order.

Frisko's vocals are quality throughout. He shows why he's one of the best in the Northwest. Top MC and top guy too. I predict big things for Frisko in the near future.

Good mix this.... enjoyed it

BUT... you need to let tunes play out more, double drop, double drop, double drop.... it hurts my head after a while and sometimes began to sound messy, even though technically good.
Sometimes its nice to just to listen to a tune before a new one is brought in.

This is my opinion though, i know some people like a mix doubled dropped to death, i personally think u need to chill it out a little.

But your structure is much better to the KAM mix of urs i listened too.... some sweet tunes played too :toke:

Would you recommend doing the same on dogs on acid or not? Don't really know the dnb forum scene that well. Just use nwdnb really.

see the thing is with dnb i'm pritty much known as being a hype hype jump up double time spitter (although i do spit half time aswell i'm a hip hop head), but with this mix i like to think it shows i can work well on different styles of dnb and host in a more chilled out professional manner but still do alot of my double time rhyming and make it all sound right in the mix.

I think i've shown this in this mix but i still reckon some peeps won't be down with my type of mcing on amix like this but i carn't please everyone can i that would be impossible!
