Anyone know where i can download a manual for Native instruments FM7 synth. it's fat but pretty complicated.:seeya:

Not really an FM7 manual but a guide through FM synthesis with examples on FM7. Well, a digest on FM synthesis kinda...

thanks mate. i got that one. It didn't go into to much detail though.

i shall continue with the trial and error method

Well FM synthesis is not simple at all, I'm still cutting my way through it and I'm not having an easy time. Anyway, have you got to the cutoff and resonance part (quite easy to discover)? :) If not, I can point a finger... btw Fm7 is one of my (if not THE) favourite vst synth(s).

i kind of know the principals of FM synthesis. Just this particular synth has loads of options to link together shit.


I shall try Kazzaaa. although i just deleted it from my comp.:dawhip:
