Cubase SX upgrade question

Has anyone used Cubase SX, and then upgraded to .6

I have the upgrade, but i'm not sure if it would just replace my old one, or i'd have to uninstall the older version then install the new one?

If i have to uninstall i'm worried that all the plugins/fx will go back in different folders, and when openening my tunes all the settings, fx & instruments will not be found.

I remember reinstalling my Comp once. I have everything backed up sorted. Did the format, but forgot to save all my reason refills that were in the program files (gay). They we were random refills from all over. So all the tune's have missing beats. Hats and snares that were just right at the time, but you cant remember what the fuck they were.

Basicly i dont need to upgrade, but would like to know if it will fuck me up or not?

Dont bother mate, i was talking about this the other day. From one version of Cubase to the next you dont get that many new features, they just confuse you by changing features around, the past few versions all basically do the same so why bother.

yes, but they dort out little bugs and problems.
mine still ocasionally just dissapears with no error message.
