Help!!

Just got home from work strated the PC to finish a bit on a tune and the file seems to be corrupt. Everytime i try to open the tune i get the message:

invalid project file "name.cpr!"

Is ther any way of getting this back? I am gutted at the mo, been working on this thing for hours and now its fucked!!!

what program/file type is it?

cos you could check the FAQs of that certain program on the net.

go onto the production talk forum thing- or pm vapouriser- he usually knows whats up depending on which programme you are using

Try copying and renaming the file.
also try it on someone elses computer.

if that doesnt work, remember the whole tune in your head and learn to beatbox.

It was Cubase Sx and the file is no longer recognised as a project file? When i check the properties of the file it seems ok but will not open in again in SX. Its not due to a change in the file path or anything like that so i think its fucked basically.
I managed to re-create the drum part over the weekend but it never sounds a crisp second time round. Oh well, cheers anyway D

that's gay that is. Were you using any plugins you dont normally use? That may fuck it up a bit, if it's a crack.
