korg have released something similar though, dunno if cheaper..

Mr Wilson, I dont make music on pc, but once upon a time I bought the original Novation Bass Station, which is a great machine.
Anything that is an improvement on that can only be good!!
is this just a controller though? its got no oscillators to call its own?

yes it's purely a controller.
but it regognises loads of known synthVST's and software like reason and cubase. i think it comes with some template covers of each program to go over the top as well.
You get to fiddle with all the knobs and sliders.:badger:
that korg thing looks good as well, cant seem to find a proper price for that. I think it's out in september.
