BIG FOOT (UMAN & SILENT EXTENT) / LET ME DOWN

VIPER V.I.P. 007 sees Swiss secret agent UMAN (one half of Task Horizon) pass through the Viper headquarters.
On the A-side “Big Foot” co-produced by Silent Extent does exactly what it says on the tin, were truly lashing beats leave their footprint over some industrial low end subs & atmospherics. This numbers big and grimey on the floor!
Flip to “Let Me Down” for more of an emotional affair as Uman opens up with some beautiful layers and a soothing ‘How thoughtless of you, to let me down’ vocal which totally mis-leads the listener into thinking this could be a nice little roller... how wrong could you be? As the intro builds to a tearing drop of crisp amens and phat kick an snare hits coupled with a banging but soulful b-line for the mind.
Both tracks are currently heavy hitters in the sets of Matrix & Futurebound, Ed Rush & Optical, Bad Company, Bailey, and Hype.
Watch out for more UMAN badness later in 2009.
