I want a second monitor. ( i have a second monitor)

i would like to know what kind of duel graphics card you got, and how much it cost?
i dont want to spend more than i need to really. Some are cheap some are very expensive. as it's not really for games. just music.

i've heard it should only cost about 50 quid?

Yeah i've got a Matrox G450 PCI dual head card alongside my ATI radeon 9600 AGP.

So I could have 3 monitors I wanted :D

If u want to get rid of ure AGP card u can get a Matrox G550 wich is the AGP version of the G450 - thats what I've got @ work. Very powerful card the G500.

Speakin of TFT screen - we've just bought a couple of Dell 21" one's at work - only £550 each - which I reckon is a bit of a bargin for these beasts of monitors.

Geeks

:agree:

so can you stretch your desktop across two monitors or do you just run two desktops? I assume it's the first option seeing as two desktops the same would be reasonably pointless

yeah you just put em side by side or whatever and have your desktop stretch across em both. fucking bees' for any kind of development work..

...or you can play fancy, get the luxurious Matrox Parhelia and have 3 monitor outputs on a single board. Imagine having Photoshop on one monitor, have a second monitor for panels and the toolboxes and watch porn on the third monitor. :tea:
