This is very scrappy, I've only sequenced it in Fruityloops, but all the ideas are there so I hope you see past the production quality.

And it's now finished. Sounding a wee bit better. 64k wma.

Zyon Base

sorted its a wmv now :D

cant get it to work by clicking on it though, so paste http://static.zed.cbc.ca/users/d/danblishen/files/No_Love.wma
into 'Open URL' on WMP and it should work.

to be honest though if it did get bootlegged and i heard it out, id well get my chuftees.

i like - deep, subby, vocally, some percussion stabs and a snippet of hard synth lead. A nice blend.
1st breaks' off that represent tune that precedes brown paper bag - on the cd - innit? cause I know that think break, but they gel and sit well.
Nice 1

Na mate its a break from 'Action' by Orange Krush (??). Its in 3am, Kerbkrawler and a Moving Fusion tune I can't remember.

There's no way I could get away with sampling the Railing break. Too easy!

:D

Also, as a wee kinder surprise, I've got a clip of my latest one here (http://static.zed.cbc.ca/users/d/danblishen/files/New_Amen__PARTIAL_.wma)

Yes like this one man, got it sounding spot on, nice and tight and balanced. Like the drop to the bass/tom type sounds. Keep em coming mate!

Damn ...
How good is this tune?
It's bloody excellent!

Great intro and drop ... and loving the balance of soulful vox, synth stabs, and that deep bassline/tomtom groove!
And that lil 'uh-oh' sample is used to great effect.

I'd buy this in a shot (and if I had CD deck/s I'd be moidering you for a good copy of it!)

This tune would kick arse on every other tune in the 1-Xtra Cutting Room no problem!

You should be pestering Deval and his 12th Round label with a tune like this :agree:
