Cubase Problem

Basically, i put on a couple of new instruments/fx and the install was normal with no probs. Restart my box and start Cubase and all the existing instruments/fx i had already are not listed on the instruments pop up? I went to the programme files and everything is still in the plugins folder but i can only access the onboard vst stuff you get as standard. Anyone help?

I forgot to add that i have been on the plugin manager tab and everything is listed but when i update nothing happens? I know i can reinstall SX but I'd rather not if i can help it. Anyone any ideas......please?

What happens when you open up a tune that you have made previously with your vsti/fx plug-ins, before you installed the nu-ones?
