I searched around for some drum and bass mix's tday because I wasn't going out but I still wanted to hear some of the good stuff.

This is not some of the good stuff I'm afraid.

Anybody can play this stuff on plus 6 and make people dance.

Where's the thought ? Where's the skill ?

What are you doing playing Valley Of The Shadows so fast I can hardly even recognise it ? You really know how to ruin a good tune - and Tech G - one of the most sexiest basslines I've heard, the way it's mixed in, leaves me dry. Dry as a bone dude.

I didn't take it too seriously like you said - but I didn't even think it was even a BIT of fun.

Practised to death obviously - but like those singers I watched on American Idol - you gotta wonder - do you know how bad you sound ?

well i think its ok - i like the intro and the mixing is fine.

plus if you want to use valley of the shadows in a current mix, you HAVE to play it fast, cos it was made s long ago its really slow compared to new tunes.

Oh and skill ... let me see you do that technique of dropping it in at the beginning. Not many people can hit a beat 16 times with their hand in a single bar...especially at d&b speed pitched up.

Oh...and practised to death you say... Well, that was a mix i did at 3am trying to hold it down from the neighbours.

And if you're wondering why i can do that 1st mix so quick its because i know where the pitch should be for a mix like that. You see the acapella is at -7 and "the one" is at about +7. And so the acapella doesn't sound so pitched down i use the key correction function on my decks. Thing is when i use that function it fluctuates because the deck is sending the corrected signal over the other one, hence a delay which means i have to manually compensate holding it in throuhout using that function.

Also, if it was a mix practised to death i wouldnt have been at all happy with it. A few times the decks were jumping as i cued up to do beat juggling. This meant i had to hold down the chopping and beat juggling so it wouldn't jump.

This doesnt show half of what i'm capable of...but now that you are dissing i'm gonna put together a 3 hour mix and post it up

Rah...When did this get resurected, lol. Shit it ain't even there no more. What happened to CreDance.... the person I was doing it with I didn't see eye to eye with so he owns the lot now, and as you can see nowts happening. Just shows I was right. Lesson learnt = do it on your own.
