Right

Its been done to death, but i've started using Logic 5.5.1 on my PC and I am a complete convert

Screensets rule - no more fiddly opening and closing windows

Hyperdraw - the fucking bomb

And i've just generally picked it up quick and am getting very staisfying results so there!

The only absolute fucker is the fact that Apple have now bought Emagic so no further updates for the PC - Boooooo

Any other Logic fans out there?

Just to let you SX freaks know - SX2 has nicked all the audio stuff from Nuendo, and Nuendo have nicked all the midi stuff from SX, so they are essentially very similar programs - wierd marketing ploy or what

anyway

ciao peeps

:gay:

You are moist because you're a girl.

Glad to hear you're into the Logic. dont go SX bashing.
What you said about SX and Nuendo is the talk of a Logic bias fool who just started a music tech course (ha ha ha) . SX is a slightly stripped down version of Nuendo.

I dont get the whole Nuendo SX SL shit. Maybe they're trying different experiments with the programming on each, to create a rock solid one in the future. I think Nuendo is about 800 quid and SX 500 quid (i dont know i'm a scummy crack user)

@ Sol, why have you had it with SX now?

It's coz it dont work right :) , Logic on the mac is so easy to use.

Shame about the non-pc continuation.

nuendo is more aimed at post work. although i find it to be very good when writing tunes.

Loz is right, Nuendo 2 has better functions for post-prod work, like better surround mixing tools and it's better when your writing music for video and stuff.
