No - but I did used to live in Leyland, so just think - it could be much worse :)

Is there any kind of dnb in Preston at the moment? I have only hazy memories of one at the bus stop(?) a long time ago. And, of course, if you were lucky there was sometimes something when Preston Carnival is on (like, about 2 records in Tokes)

Also, how much dnb is Action records selling nowadays?

DON'T ever give in to vodka Preston!

Never mind, you could be born and bred (but have escaped !) in Blackpool mate .... I can't see any junglistic happenings down on Maggie May's Showbar.... the Tower Lounge maybe ....

A new genre.... Drum n Bass Wurlitzer action ...

theres a few. theres something on at the corner club -not as bad as apparently it used to be, a bit chilly though, downstairs - once every two weeks, theres musicology, theres a bar or something...the problem is my flatmates like A teens and kylie Minogue, and I'm not much of a dancer so I feel a bit of a gimp sat in the corner on me lonesome...

Cool. Is the 'legendary' Willy Banjos still open? There was a record shop in it / next door to it - is that still around as well?

Actually - thinking about old record shops I've just remembered X-records in Bolton. I'll have to pay them a visit again...

A shame - X used to have absolutely loads of old and new stuff in - but it has been years since I last went.

Favourites:
Vinyl Exchange (& has been for a long time)
Spin Inn
Picadilly Records (a recent addition)
Eastern Bloc (not so much now - but it was very good when Mark & Marcus ran in from the basement)
In fact - whatever happened to their shop First Bass? I stopped buying records for a year or so and when I went back it had vanished.
